Raised in Lubbock TX, Colin Gilmore soaked up the sounds and energy of songwriters like Joe Ely, Terry Allen and his own father Jimmie Dale Gilmore. His music has been described as “energetic twang-pop” but Colin hangs onto his roots, drawing inspiration from Buddy Holly, Tom Petty, The Clash, Monsters of Folk and all points in between.
