Sweet Crude, Feufollet featuring Lisa LeBlanc (Canada)

10:30 PM - 10:30 PM Saturday April 25, 2015

Sweet Crude

Progressive music that also embraces this region’s French-speaking tradition. A small but fervent group of young Louisianians engaged in keeping the language relevant via art. They also like to drink whiskey and dance all the time.

Feufollet

Deathbed ballads meet glockenspiels and omnichords. Cajun French choruses are written on iPhones. Indie-rock vibes invade Acadian archives.

Lisa LeBlanc

Lisa LeBlanc is a “folk-trash” musician from New Brunswick, Canada, that utilizes guitar, banjo and vocals to create a rock sound with a folk feel. The warm, Americana sound led to a platinum selling debut album and a 2013 Indies Award (CMW) for Francophone Artist or Group of the Year.
