Shrugs:

Formed in 2015, Shrugs is a quartet of Lafayette, Louisiana natives whose music combines modern folk and ambient influences. The group uses elements including voice, both acoustic and electric guitar, as well as upright bass to accompany moody and atmospheric stories previously untold. With songs driven by haunting vocal harmonies and heavy strings melodies, the young band crafts a captivating sound that lingers with the listener. In addition to performing live at local venues, Shrugs’ debut album is expected to release in the summer of 2017.
