The band is led by singer Matthew Marcus McDaniel, whose distinctive voice and soulful belt command attention while his ripping harmonica allows for the foot stomping. Curtis Crofford provides funky bass lines and deep, sultry grooves. Shaun Crawford and Jake Stewart add the sweetness and rock and roll authority with electrifying guitar lines and memorable riffs. Jake doubles on the organ to take the whole band to church. Punchy backing vocals, smooth percussion and the occasional horn section round out the soundscapes.
