The New Orleans Johnnys originated in 2009 as a blend of the rhythms of New Orleans funk and the early blues-based rock & roll that made the world take notice of the New Orleans music scene decades ago. The result is a highly-danceable form of rock & roll that is funky, filthy and distinctly New Orleans. Since their inception, the band has been steadily gigging around NOLA and Lafayette at a variety of venues, and have begun to emerge as an act on the local Festival circuit.
