Lil’ Wayne & Same Ol’ Two Step
While some of the younger Zydeco musicians are pushing zydeco to the progressive left, Wayne & Same Ol 2 Step, keep their music firmly grounded in the Opelousas-Lawtell tradition of Zydeco.
Every member of the group has extensive experience in playing Zydeco Music. The lead vocalist, accordionist, and leader of the band Wayne Singleton has been involved with zydeco music since the age of 7. He is young and energetic and sure to make one dance. Smooth pocket bass player that brings a unique groove to the flavor of the band.
They have toured throughout the United States and in Europe playing many different venues and are coming back closer to their roots to play in Lafayette at the Blue Moon!
