Free Hot Breakfast is a new and upcoming Funk Rock band from Lafayette, La trying to make pretty music just for you.

They combine many genres of music, all with a funky flair. Comprised of keyboardist and vocalist David Hochkeppel, guitarist Ryan Malone, bassist Taggart Fitzgerald, drummer Nathan Byers, auxiliary percussionist Christian Pitre, trumpet player Colin Mills, and saxophonist Austin Matte, with influences such as Red Hot Chili Peppers, Pink Floyd, Dave Matthews Band, Radiohead, and Chicago, FHB produces a wide variety of music that appeals to any audience.

Maintenance is built around acoustic, synth, and keyboard melodies, with the intention of creating a dense, colorful canvas to display lyric-driven songs. They will take you from the sounds of a drowsy carnival to the delights of destruction. The songs themselves seem to invite frustration, while the key based textures leave space for the listener to escape. Though Maintenance is a young band, the members have quickly honed in on what Maintenance is and should be – an experience that simultaneously evokes mystery and familiarity all in the same breath.
