Everbreath & Wake Theory
Wake Theory is a rock/metal band from Alexandria, Louisiana.
The band’s music has spread like wildfire since the release of their first single “Forever”, in December 2018. Follow-up tracks “Falling Faster” and “Take Me to the Edge” were released weeks apart in March 2019, creating a surge of momentum that pushed Wake Theory to the No.1 spot on ReverbNation’s Rock Charts in the United States by April 2019.
EVERBREATH
After playing together for over six years and sharing stages with the likes of Flyleaf and (Motley Crue’s) Vince Neil, former members of ABRUPT: Brandon Menard, Eric Borne, and Jeremy Foret, with the addition of bassist Ryan Kiser, formed EVERBREATH.
The band’s first EP (self titled, released in 2010) is a six-song disc of pride, release, shame, sorrow, and encouragement. The disc’s listeners easily connect with its stories, lessons, and personal admittance of flaw. The EP is currently available through digital retailers world-wide, such as: CDbaby.com, iTunes, Amazon.com, Zune, etc. It’s physical disc is only available at live shows in short-run supply.
Since their EP’s short-run release in June of 2010, the band has joined many artists on stage, both regional and national. The list includes two performances with 12 Stones (EMG / formerly of Wind-Up Records) and an appearance with Pop Evil (Universal Republic) and Otherwise (Century Media Records), after which the band parted ways with guitarist Jeremy Foret.
In mid 2012: guitarist Ben Givens (formerly of the band Corvina) joined the EVERBREATH lineup, bringing with him the aggressive playing and energetic style he has become known for. The band has since performed with 10 Years (Universal Records), again with Otherwise (Century Media Records), and Taproot (Victory Records / formerly of Atlantic Records).
On May 18th, 2013: the track “Cinderella” (from the band’s upcoming EP) was made available for streaming.
The long awaited BREATHE AGAIN EP was released digitally on June 6th, 2014.
Shortly after the release of BREATHE AGAIN, guitarist Ben Givens exited the band, leaving the group to continue as a trio.
In the summer of 2016, the band went on hiatus which would extend over the next two years.
In 2018, after a six year departure, original guitarist Jeremy Foret returned to the group. The band has been writing new material and are currently recording.
The re-established quartet aim to continue to create and perform their passion filled sound that once caught listeners by the ears and hearts from stages across the South.
