On June 23rd, Brandon “Boud” Boudreaux was diagnosed with pleomorphic spindle cell sarcoma and went under the knife to remove the affected area, which just so happened to be one of his testicles. Since the surgery, Brandon began treatment and is currently undergoing 6 rounds of 72-hour chemotherapy infusions at MD Anderson in Houston, TX. Upon completing his initial round of chemotherapy, Boud will have to travel back to MD Anderson several times each year for follow-up CT scans and further treatment and tests.
Since one of Boud’s testicles has made the ultimate sacrifice in the fight against cancer, we are hosting an event to rally behind Brandon, and to help raise money for his related medical and travel expenses, and any lost wages he may experience. In honor of his fallen comrade, Boud’s Ball will be held on November 3rd, 2017, at the Blue Moon Saloon in Lafayette, Louisiana.
Boud has been in the service of the public since graduating from The University of Louisiana at Lafayette in 2009. He is currently serving as a Uniform Patrol Officer with the Baton Rouge Police Department. If you are a friend, family member, fellow police officer, and/or citizen in the community he serves, we humbly ask you to donate and/or attend our event.
