Unique to Cajun music, is how a singer’s individual voice can interpret and evolve a song, which is rooted in themes which were about the lives the Cajun people. Forests’ vocal interpretation bristled with gutsy soul and pure imagery while Al Berard’s lush laden fiddling was reminiscent of one encore after another. Along with Forest Huval on Accordion and vocals, this impressive line-up included Al Berard on fiddle, the compelling Keith Blanchard on drums and Dwayne Brasseaux playing seamless guitar.
