New Natives Brass Band is a New Orleans style brass band hailing from the beautiful city of Lafayette, LA. We perform at parties, weddings, parades, jazz funeral, educational clinics and much more!

Instinctively carrying the torch of this generation’s answer to R&B/soul, the four-person band is cool, calm and collected as they await the arrival of their creative collaboration, sure to skyrocket them into major success.

Burris is comprised of founding member/songwriter/vocalist Christopher Burris Hochkeppel, along with a rotating cast of collaborators including drummer Tyler Hanson, Pianist and Trombonist Ben Herrington, Bassists Stephen Bohnstengel and Andrew Moss, Saxophonist Kevin McMann, Violinist Anton Zholondz, and Auxiliary Percussionist Matt Murray. The nationally touring band has performed at French Quarter Fest New Orleans, Festival International de Louisiane, Bethlehem’s Musikfest in Pennsylvania and more. Each member of the band is a staple in the southern Louisiana music scene.
