Sunday, November 1st, from 4pm-8pm, “The Friends of Rose Hoffman Cormier Benefit” will be held at The Blue Moon Saloon, 215 E. Convent St. Lafayette. The admission is $15.00/person. Les Michot Courville Cajun Band will perform and a silent auction will be held to raise funds for Rose, who is battling stage 3 colon cancer. Rose is a beloved friend to thousands in the Acadiana community and beyond. She is a delightful character actress playing Marilyn Monreaux, Mrs. Santa Claus, Mother Goose, ULL Flo, and many other roles in Lafayette theater productions. She is a generous humanitarian, giving a tremendous amount of her time to numerous causes. Please be a friend to Rose and support this lovely lady in her time of need.
