There will be a Costume Contest with 3 categories! The categories will be Buford T. Justice, Bo “Bandit” Darville (Burt Reynolds), and Carrie (Sally Field).
There will be prize for each best character!

Austin native and Singer/songwriter Ben Ray Pickett and bassist Jeremy Steward (Frigg-A-Go-Go) formed Durwood in 2016, debuting an original set at The Blue Moon Saloon in Lafayette, LA. Since then, the band’s lineup has grown to include; drummer- Dave “Pappa Puff” Nezat (Chubby Carrier, Doublewide) and lead guitarist- Justin Lewis (Wayne Toups, Jo-El Sonnier). While Durwood’s music does not fit neatly into any one genre, the Texas country music influence is apparent. Durwood writes songs about life. The struggles, heartache, defiance and day to day grind, are all captured in their brand of Rock and Roll. The band recently began recording their first album at the legendary Dockside Studios (Maurice, LA).
