Television Man formed during the Christmas season of 2012. After getting their feet wet in several now-defunct local bands, Lafayette, La. natives TVMatt, TVPat, and TVTat reunited after a brief intermission to reprise their musical endeavors. Inspired initially by New Wave artists such as Talking Heads and Joy Division, TV Man’s love for 90’s rock ultimately shone through with undeniable clarity. TVPat claims he is related to J Mascis; perhaps this explains a fraction of their sound. Truly, it is an enigma. TV Man is a group of scholar musicians; rumor has it that TVTat is a doctor. TV Man regroups every school break and summer holiday with the goal of “rocking the Gulf Coast harder than when the Sex Pistols came to Baton Rouge”
