THE GUMBO SHOW 2017
Join La Recolte, ŒUVAL, and Quatre Coin at the Blue Moon Saloon for an evening of old time Cajun fun! Band members will be cooking up a pot of chicken and sausage gumbo made with Comeaux’s world famous sausage, followed by a traditional back porch Cajun dance.

A $10 cover charge will get you all the gumbo you can eat (until the pot runs dry). Gumbo served at 7pm and the first band hits the stage at 8pm, so come early to eat and practice your Cajun French before hitting the dance floor. Come start the new year off right!

La Recolte
La Recolte is traditional and highly influenced by the South Louisiana dance hall music of the mid-1900’s. La Recolte is sure to get you on the dance floor. Belting out waltzes of relationships gone bad as well as driving two-steps that will get you pumping all night long. The earlier generations of Cajuns planted the seeds that would generate an abundance of Cajun music and culture.

ŒUVAL is French music that surrounded us when we were growing up mixed in with the attitude, driving beat and intense vocals that taken together inspire dance!
ŒUVAL is the extended and very musical Huval clan of St. Martin Parish. More precisely, ŒUVAL is Kevin Huval and his sons, Joshua and Daniel, cousin Forest Huval, Christian Lejeune and Mr. Jimmy Breaux.
