The Pollies w/ Dylan Leblanc & The Viatones
Let’s Celebrate MARDI GRAS!
“IN AN IDEAL WORLD, DISCOVERING A BAND LIKE THE POLLIES WOULDN’T BE THAT BIG OF A DEAL, BUT THEN AGAIN, IN AN IDEAL WORLD, EVERY BAND WOULD BE ABLE TO SEAMLESSLY BLEND AND ARRANGE THE ROOT ELEMENTS OF ROCK AND ROLL WHILE FORGING INTO NEW TERRITORY TO CREATE SONGS THAT SOUND SO NATURAL AND EFFORTLESS THAT YOU DON’T NOTICE THE INTRINSIC COMPLEXITY AND MASSIVE UNDERTAKING THAT EACH TRACK REPRESENTS.” – LAST.FM

The Viatones are a rock’n’roll quintet from Lafayette, LA, comprised of some of the best musicians in the area. A super-group of sorts (according to some), each member is a front-man in his own right. Considering the many musical undertakings of each individual, the fact that they have a band together is pretty amazing. However, this makes The Viatones a rare commodity. The lads attract listeners of all ages as they bridge the gap by fusing the ways of the old with the new. The group of talented friends were brought together by their love of old rock’n’roll, which bleeds through on all their songs. The band currently has one self-released album, “Introducing The Viatones” (2011). In 2012 they performed at the best international music festival on Earth, Festival International de Louisiane. The Viatones are currently working on a new record to be released in the spring of 2013.
